Manolli is an Egyptian jewelry and accessories house founded in Cairo in 2017 by designer Manal Nofal. Every first piece of every collection is handcrafted by the founder herself, using natural semi-precious stones, sterling silver, and gold-plated metals — materials chosen as carefully as the stories they carry.

Our Story

Manolli was born from a lifelong passion, not a business plan. For years, Manal created pieces for herself, gifted them to the people she loved, and built a quiet following of women who recognized something rare in her work: jewelry with genuine soul. In 2017, that passion became a brand. Today, Manolli is a recognized Egyptian name, present across retail locations throughout Cairo and a beloved fixture at bazaars and cultural events across Egypt.
Manolli's world spans two sides of the same vision — from delicate, minimalist pieces that speak in whispers, to bold, colourful designs that express everything words cannot. Whatever the piece, the intention behind it never changes. Each one is an expression of identity, emotion, and belonging; a way of carrying your story with you, worn close to the body and passed down through generations.

Founder & Head Designer

Manal Nofal founded Manolli in 2017 and named it after herself — Manolli is the nickname she has carried since girlhood, a name that has always meant warmth, creativity, and a love of beautiful things.

A graduate of Cairo University with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Manal went on to build a career in banking — but always nurtured a deep passion for art, heritage, Arabic calligraphy, and handmade craft. For years she created jewelry for herself, gifted pieces to friends and family, and quietly built a following of admirers who saw in her work something they couldn't find anywhere else — jewelry with genuine soul. In 2017, she turned that lifelong passion into Manolli.

Every first piece is still made by her hands. Every design still begins with her vision. Manal approaches each piece not as a product but as a personal expression — something to be felt as much as worn. Her eye for natural stones, her feel for proportion, and her instinct for meaning are what make Manolli unmistakably hers.

Today Manolli is a recognized Egyptian brand, present across retail locations throughout Cairo and a beloved fixture at bazaars and cultural events across Egypt. But for Manal, it has never been about scale. It has always been about
the piece in her hands and the person it was made for.

CEO
Aly Shafy is Manal's son and a lifelong admirer of everything Manolli represents. Growing up watching his mother pour her heart into every piece she made, Manolli was never just a brand to Aly — it was part of who he is. A graduate of Concordia University in Montreal with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Finance, Aly went on to build a career in the technology industry in Canada, holding senior leadership roles at one of the country's most prominent tech companies. In 2026, he returned to Egypt to take on the role of CEO with a clear mission: to build Manolli's digital infrastructure, grow its ecommerce presence, and take an already beloved Egyptian brand to an international audience.
